Pickling & Phosphate Coating

The process starts with acid pickling, which involves the use of acidic solutions to remove scales, impurities and oxides from the metal surface. During the process, the acid strength is carefully maintained to ensure desired results. MMIPL has high pressure water to remove all traces of acid from the material

The phosphate coating process is carried out using an immersion method, where parameters like pointage, temperature, and duration are closely controlled with suitable measuring system to meet the specific requirements of customers.

Heat Treatment & Annealing

This process involves heating steel materials to the specific temperature, maintaining this temperature for a specific time period, and allowing the materials to cool slowly to meet the metallurgical requirement.

Annealing is a heat treatment process that enhances the workability and ductility of steel by altering its microstructure. The process involves heating steel above its lower critical temperature, soaking it for a suitable duration, and then cooling it at a predetermined rate. Annealing helps to reduce hardness, increase ductility, and eliminate internal stresses, ending in desired results.

Wire drawing

Wire drawing is one of the important processes that requires extra care and attention. This involves pulling a wire or rod using our latest and high-end machines to reduce or change its diameter as per the clients’ requirements. This process boasts a remarkable zero percent wastage except initial entry portion, making it highly efficient and environmentally-friendly.

Quality Check

Our commitment to quality is reflected in our state-of-the-art quality lab, equipped with cutting-edge technology that enables us to thoroughly test and screen every end product. This rigorous testing process ensures that our clients receive only the safest and highest quality products.

In our annealing process, we achieve good Spheroidization level- the carbides are converted to globular form to meet the cold forging requirements. We have a very good protective atmosphere and control atmosphere system to reduce the Decarb level.

Traceability:
We have an excellent metal tag system with code for each coils and Customer basis, to avoid Grade mix up issue.

Package and delivery

At our packing unit, we adhere to strict internal procedures and protocols to ensure accurate product labelling and specifications before delivery. Our meticulous approach ensures that every product is correctly tagged and meets our high standards of quality control.
